How About That? 3/21/2010 5:50:00 PM
The Packers O-Line allowed a NFL leading 51 sacks, ranked 30th in pass protection and Aaron Rodgers still managed to be the most productive fantasy QB in 2009. Through week 17 Rodgers had 4,434 passing yards with 30 passing TD's, another 5 rushing TD's and threw only 7 interceptions. Rodgers' 2010 stock's high, but can that line keep him healthy?

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Rodgers could miss time in practice this week but is expected to play Sunday at Tampa Bay without losing mobility.

Week #6 Lions @ Green Bay 1:00 p.m. EST 10/13/2009 3:40:00 PM
Aaron Rodgers faces a great match up this week vs. the hapless Lions in Green Bay. Assuming his O-Line allows him to live. So far the Pack’s ranked dead last in Pass Protection and have already allowed 20 sacks (also league leading) in five games. To be fair the Packers O-Line has performed much better in Run Blocking, ranking at 14th overall (1 being the best). We currently have the Packers O-Line ranked at 26th overall.
Advantage, Rodgers? The Lions are currently ranked 27th Defending the Pass and are on average giving up 244.6 passing yards per game. They have already surrendered 15 passing TD’s and they’re also allowing the most fantasy points to oposing QB’s in the league.
* Stats based on Regular season totals, through Week Five.

The Aaron Rodgers era begins now 3/4/2008 10:06:00 AM
The Green Bay Packers officially announced quarterback Brett Favre's retirement. Backup Aaron Rodgers is in line to succeed Favre as the Packers' starter. Rodgers will be a functional quarterback, but green QB's usually spell stacked line. Rodgers inexperience obviously hurts the fantasy value of all Packers skill players.
